What is Sangrita?

Sangrita means “little blood” in Spanish, and the name comes from its red color. It's not related to the wine drink "Sangria" or the Margarita cocktail, but as a traditional companion to tequila. And just like tequila, it originated in the Jalisco state of Mexico.

Sangrita is meant to be sipped alongside your favorite Blanco or Reposado tequila, and can be either fruit juice based or tomato based. But it's always spicy and always has citrus flavors and a little saltiness. 

Rosalita™ Sangrita is a premium Sangrita made with high quality, all natural ingredients: pomegranate, mango, orange, lime, and onion juices along with hot sauce, himalayan sea salt, spices, natural flavors and a vegan worcestershire sauce. Rosalita is also all natural, gluten free, non-gmo, and vegan, with no added sugar.
